Atlanta native, Coach “Butch” Wesley, has an innate passion for the fundamental principles of strength & conditioning. Shortly after graduating from Jacksonville State University, he turned this passion into an on-going professional journey when he accepted the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach with his alma mater.

 

A Certified Sports Performance Coach, he has handcrafted a unique method of training that combines basic principles of physical therapy with personal training and strength & conditioning methodologies. His ground-based approach has helped both the professional and everyday athlete obtain measurable results by increasing understanding, awareness and execution of basic human movement. 

 

Throughout his 20+ year career, Coach Wesley has lead strength programming in schools, boutique gyms and national franchisees, partnering with clients ranging from youth & collegiate to professional athletes, blue collar to corporate professionals, entertainers to entrepreneurs, stay-at-home moms, retirees and others to improve their quality of life, achieve their strength & wellness goals and eliminate chronic pain related to impaired mobility and bodily functionality.

 

Known as “Mr. Quit or Commit”, Coach Wesley credits his drive, determination, and leadership skills to his late mother and to his experience playing football under the leadership of two legendary coaches. He strongly believes the foundational principles of strength training begin as intangible spirits that shape our thoughts & emotions, but when consistently executed, they become our most powerful weapons in overcoming the paralyzing effects of emotional adversity both inside and outside the gym. In all matters we have two choices: “either quit or commit!"
